The menu

A refreshingly simple concept – from kitchen to table in one movement, in one perfect little pot – a little cocotte – a mini cast iron pan by quality manufacturer, Staub.  Almost all courses are served in these little pots – starters, mains and desserts.  The hot cocottes are perched on little wooden boards so can be easily handled.  It’s difficult to decide which main course cocotte to choose – maybe the lamb confit, the juicy Saint Jacques on a froth of beurre d’orange, the filet of beef, the chicken fricassée with a creamy stew. For vegetarians, there’s a seasonal vegetable cocotte.

There’s a pretty pink English version of the menu if you struggle with French and you can order wine by the glass or the carafe if you don’t need a bottle.

The menu is always seasonal and availability depends on what is fresh that day and prices are extremely reasonable.
